Lindsey T-Ball

Lindsey is playing t-ball this year. She really wanted to play last year, but we weren't sure of the age rules and waited until now. She really enjoys playing and is the ONLY girl on her team! The coach told the kids at practice to think of a name for the team and was trying to involve Lindsey and asked her what she wanted to call the team. She wanted something girly like "my little ponies" or "littlest pet shop" (very much girl toys!) So, the coach's wife made the treat list and printed it on hot pink paper and at the top wrote "Lindsey's Pink Littlest Pet Shop Treats" (or something like that). She really wanted her to feel included and I thought it was very sweet! Lindsey likes to stand on the base and watch the boys chase after the ball. Nice strategy!

Keely and Rylan's new bedrooms

Keely and Rylan's rooms are finished ~ well, ALMOST!! They are mostly moved in, the closets and doors are not done, but they are very happy to have a place of their own. They each have an area (or two) that is magnetized so they can hang things and change them as they please ~ how cool! We are not in a hurry to get the closets done after all the work and money spent recently. We are hoping to get Jence's brother, Lance, come help us with them so they look AWESOME! We'll keep you posted.

Hello!! And welcome to our blog. This is very new to me/us and thanks to my friends who encouraged me and let me know that it's not too hard to get started. I've loved reading my friends blogs and thought it would be a fun way to keep friends and family more in touch with us.

J K Carl is the fist letter of each of our first names. Jence, Keely, Carter, Annette, Rylan and Lindsey. I was hoping it would be easy for everyone to remember! J Clark was taken, so after some thinking I thought along the lines of the author of Harry Potter books... J K Rowling and walah!! J K Carl was born!
